Ryan Eubank

Ryan Eubank is a highly skilled and experienced welding instructor with over 20 years in the industry and specializes in the areas of MIG, TIG, Stick Welding and pipe welding. Ryan is passionate about sharing knowledge and fostering the next generation of welders.  Ryan has earned many certifications and is also a Certified Associate Welding Inspector. Ryan brings both technical expertise and real-world experience to the classroom. He has worked on diverse projects ranging from writing a book to traveling to Africa to assist in the development of a nonprofit welding training program for Tanzanians. 

Ryan’s teaching philosophy emphasizes innovation, hard work and life skills. Known for his unique teaching methods which include hands on training and mentoring students, Ryan consistently helps students achieve their professional goals in welding and personal goals in life.  

In addition to teaching, Ryan is the Welding Program Coordinator at Lakeland Community College. He also hosts educator workshops and collaborates with industry leaders to ensure students are well-prepared for modern welding challenges and life. Ryan works with Project MFG to encourage entry into skilled trades and expand the industrial based workforce. Ryan has earned many awards throughout his career including Lakeland Distinguished Service Award 2022, Distinguished Civic Organization of the Year 2018, Heart Award 2017, Excellence in Teaching Award from Lakeland Community College 2022 and 2018, Certificate of Excellence in Youth Skilled Development from Skills USA 2018 and the AWS WEMCO Excellence in Welding Award for Educator in 2018. 

​Ryan wants all students that enter his classroom to leave feeling empowered. He achieves this by cultivating confidence, growth and leadership through project-based learning while also inspiring others to do great things. Ryan encourages a strong work ethic, professionalism and a positive attitude. He also stresses teamwork and collaboration among his students. Ryan continues to create a lasting positive impact on students and the welding community and strives to make a difference in the world.
